Recycling our paper waste is an important part of our environmental stewardship. Our scrap waste is bailed and sent to a processing facility where it can be converted into paper for new boxes or other paper products.

Recently, we modernized our production facility to use the most energy efficient lighting available today. Not only does this make our facility brighter and safer, it reduces our energy consumption by more than 20%.

Many of our customers decide to choose packaging that is made from 100% post-consumer paper content. This uses fully recycled paper and does not use any new, virgin tree pulp. When choosing this option, it reduces the impact on our landfills.

Thomas Container & Packaging offers to print your boxes in a rainbow of colors. All of the inks that we use are water based and present no harm to the environment. We can also offer printing with soy-based inks.

Our fleet of delivery trucks has modern electronic diesel engines that reduce pollution and help cut down on smog. We continually maintain them to make sure they run at the highest efficiency and leave the smallest impact on the environment.
